Noticing a real need for a full-line, full-on music store in Seattle’s South end, Michael Smith founded Georgetown Music Store in 2009. As our pinhead-in-charge, Michael has over 20 years of experience in the music industry, having founded several stores in Washington and California in the past. Through his enthusiasm for quality equipment and his commitment to friendly and knowledgeable service, he has long earned the trust and respect of Seattle’s greater music and art community.
Located in the heart of Georgetown, in the former home of the Georgetown Pharmacy, we are easily accessible by I-5 and Route 99. We buy, sell, trade, and repair, so bring your old gear and we’ll be happy to take a look! This website contains only a partial listing of the inventory we have in stock, which changes on a daily basis. To see everything, stop by the store! Or, call us if you know what you're looking for. We're always happy to tell you what's come in. All instruments in the store have been set up, tuned and cleaned by a professional luthier or our in-house drum tech.  Open seven days a week!
