This stunning 1990 Gibson SG Standard is hitting the hooks this weekend. Comes from a local gentleman who’s the original owner. All stock, unaltered electronics under the hood. The pickups in the ’90 version are two humbuckers; 490R / 490T with Alnico II magnets. Original tuners and saddles had issues so were replaced with period correct parts.
This era SG Standards came with the switch lower on the body, the output jack on the side, 1 11/16″ nut width, an Indian Rosewood fretboard with a 12″ neck radius, angel wing pickguard and black speed knobs. Some player’s wear like slight buckle rash and a little swirling in the finish but no breaks or major repairs. Available now on the website and in-store. $1599 w/ Gibson soft-case.
