Just received this georgeous Gibson BR-6 6 string lapsteel guitar from repair. The tuning pegs had disintegrated, as they sometimes do from this era (50s), so we had our friend Joe Cable install some replacement buttons. They look great and damn… this thing sounds awesome. Got it in on a trade but really couldn’t play it until the repair was done. This guitar has a ton of sustain and the original pickup sounds excellent. Comes with it’s original hardcase too for $749.00. Wow!
