Music Man 110 RD Fifty – Vintage Tube Amp

Music Man 110 RD Fifty – Vintage Tube Amp

Anyone out there ever played through a Music Man amplifier? They have a sound that’s similar to Fenders because of the link to Leo Fender’s design and experience. After Fender sold to CBS in 1965, Leo continued to work for Fender under CBS but eventually moved on to start his CLF Research Company. CLF Research and Ernie Ball, a California based string and instrument maker, ganged up to produce Music Man Products for a large part of the 70s.

Anyways, we have a cool one for ya here that’s part of Leo’s legacy. It’s an early 80s Music Man 110 RD Fifty. 50 watt combo with a nice clean tone, plenty of headroom and gain if you need it. Stock CTS 10″ speaker. Spring reverb. Recently serviced.

When this model was release in ’81, Leo Fender had parted ways with Ernie Ball and Music Man to work solely on G&L products, yet the preamp section and limiter of this amp is Leo’s design. $799.
