Vintage Yamaha DX7IIFD Synthesizer

Vintage Yamaha DX7IIFD Synthesizer

The DX7 was the first successful digital synthesizer and it became the gold standard for keyboardists and synth players worldwide with over 200,000 units sold. So many notable players… Brian Eno, Chicago, A-ha, Luther Vandross, Kool and the Gang, the Cure, and Talking Heads to name a few.

We now have this amazingly well kept, late-80s Yamaha DX7IIFD with roadcase. The DX7 II was a late-80s updated model with major improvements like push-buttons instead of membrane, 2 real-time sliders that were enlarged, doubled patch memory and 16-bit digital circuitry. The FD stands for floppy disk and allows for 1 megabyte of memory space.

It comes with 2 cartridges, volume and sustain pedals, breath controller, original manuals, Grey Matter E! expansion and floppy disk drive for storage. $999.
