What you see here is someone’s homemade electric resonator guitar. It’s a bit of a headscratcher but we like it. There’s a resonator cone under a repurposed grill, and a mini-humbucker at the neck. The volume and tone controls have been bypassed so the pickup is just wired to the jack. We didn’t alter anything except for fresh strings and a general setup. As it sits it plays well and does the resonator thing. Might make a good candidate for more mods from someone who’d like to tinker a little. As it sits… it’s a playable, one-of-a-kind electric resonator that is weird and has potential.
