Epiphone Guitar in Japan – EA250 Hollowbody

Gibson brought the Epiphone brand to Japan in 1970 and made some unique designs that were not based on existing Epiphone or Gibson models. The famous Matsumoku factory built this beautiful hollowbody electric, the EA-250 in the early 1970s, and is among the first imported Epiphone instruments. It’s a double cutaway with 2 humbucker “staple” pickups, 2 volume and 2 tone controls, 3 way selector, adjustable bridge and vibrato. It’s has been gone through. Tuners cleaned, pots sprayed, vibrato arm repaired and made to play well with a fret level and set up for 10s. $699.
