80s Akai AX73 Polyphonic Synthesizer

80s Akai AX73 Polyphonic Synthesizer

Akai debuted the AX73 synthesizer in 1986 to rival Roland’s Juno synths, and now they’re relatively unsung, but sound cool nvertheless. That being said, you can pick one up cheap… if you can find one. It’s an all analog, 6 voice VCO polyphonic synth with 7 octaves of full-sized keys, pitch and modulation wheel and MIDI i/os. There’s LFO, width pulse modulation and chorus. You can store up to 100 patches. It’s been tested, cleaned up and is ready for your exploration. $349.
